Lancashire-wide review and harmonisation of clinical policies
Have your say
As part of the ongoing review of clinical policies for all the Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in Lancashire and South Cumbria, we are now seeking views and comments on three new or revised policies.
The latest draft clinical policies open for patient and public feedback are as follows:
- new policy for the supply and funding of insulin pumps for patients with Diabetes Mellitus
- a new policy for the provision of continuous glucose monitoring and flash glucose monitoring for patients with Diabetes Mellitus
- policy for the management of back pain – spinal injections and radiofrequency denervation
The draft policies can be found below. You are invited and recommended to read the clinical policies before giving your feedback. You can click on the link next to each policy to complete a short survey and give your views.
Here are some Frequently Asked Questions that may answer any queries you have about the process or about these policies. To help you we have also included a Level of Change document that identifies what has been changed in the updated policy for back pain – spinal injections. As the policies on insulin pumps and glucose monitoring are new policies there is no comparison required with previous policies.
Your comments will be fed back to the CCG as part of the development process.
Comments on these policies should be submitted by Friday 29 June.
Level of change document (if applicable)
If you require any of these documents in an alternative format such as Braille, larger print, audio, British Sign Language or in a language other than English please contact the Customer Care Team in one of the following ways:
Further opportunities will be made available for your involvement and feedback on other clinical policies as and when they are developed and available for discussion.
