What is Future in Mind?
Future in Mind is a report which outlines a number of recommendations for every Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) to work towards in order to transform the way child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) are being delivered.
It has been reported that around 75% of adults with mental health conditions experience symptoms before the age of 18. However, in some parts of the country, as few as one in four children and young people with a diagnosable mental health condition are being reached.
Future in Mind is about how we need to set about tackling the problems to create a system that brings together the potential of wider stakeholders including local authorities, schools, social care, the NHS, the voluntary sector, parents and most importantly children and young people.
